The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring coffee production lines are receiving and removing materials in timely fashion in order for machines to run at optimal levels.
Also responsible for receiving, shipping and stocking supplies, maintain inventory.
What You Will Do:
Supply materials to production lines, as required Remove finished goods from production lines to finished goods area Load and document finished goods movement onto trailers using scanning equipment Receive raw materials from the material warehouse and enter receipts using the computer RF unit Safe and efficient forklift operation.
Report all unsafe conditions or equipment to supervisor Report damages and shortages to the manager on duty in a prompt manner.
Ensure any damaged products are not shipped to customers Perform inventory tracking tasks as required.
Maintain hardware and supply areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
Follow health and safety guidelines when moving and lifting materials.
Perform other duties as assigned Use computerized equipment such as scanners and PC keyboard Who You Are:
Ability to communicate respectfully, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
Ability to uphold and follow safety, food safety, and production quality standards.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Prior fork lift experience preferred.
Physical ability to comfortably lift 75 pounds.
Ability to perform accurate data entry.
Experience with WMS and/or ERP inventory management systems preferred Scheduling flexibility including overtime as well as different shifts as needed in order to meet production demands.
Accuracy, thoroughness, reliability and ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
Self-directed and able to complete all tasks with minimal supervision #GD.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
