The Opportunity This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we're focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.
We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology What You'll Work On Perform and approve dimensional, electrical, and cosmetic inspection of raw materials/components used in sensor, strip, glucose meter and continuous glucose monitoring manufacturing.
Perform artwork proofing and approval of final packaging materials/components.
Perform inspection or in process testing of components or product for clinical or design verification activities.
Perform record review of product builds to support design verification testing and clinical studies Perform tracking and trending of data metrics, and present quarterly review with management Conduct investigation and data analysis of component or product.
Document and communicate discrepancies observed during inspection activities and record reviews.
Assist in the implementation of new tests, procedures, and other activities for on-market and new product introduction.
Collaborate with development and revision updates of standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Interface with other internal and external departments to address issues with quality control inspection/test methods, procedures, and quality records.
Support/collaborate with continuous improvement of inspections, test methodologies, inspection processes and procedures.
Support internal and external audits as required.
