THE ROLE
VIA's Service Technicians are natural problem solvers who enjoy using their deep experience and broad skills to quickly get clients back up and running. Our Client Services Techs are the hands on heroes who deliver VIA's Concierge level service to every client, every day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple daily service calls
Quickly and efficiently diagnose faults and make repairs
Use mobile devices to accurately record labor and materials used
Proactively assess opportunities to upgrade and enhance client systems.
Demonstrate VIA's commitment to Concierge level service through sensitivity to client requests and needs

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years experience in residential electronic systems installation or service. Additional skills and abilities include:
Knowledge of residential systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, security, CCTV, telephone and computer networks.
Knowledge of high-end equipment and control systems including the ability to setup, configure, calibrate, and commission equipment after physical installation
An understanding of signal flows and control systems for distributed audio, video, and home theater systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems at the system and component level.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, electronic schematics, and user manuals
Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new construction and retrofit projects.
Proficient with hand and power tools used to complete physical installations of speakers, displays, equipment racks, and ventilation systems
Ability to work under pressure, assess multiple demands, and manage priorities
Ability to communicate effectively in person and/or via email, phone, or text to varied audiences.
Ability to handle and set up different size ladders, scaffolding, and operate different types of lifts.
An understanding of the use of proper safety equipment necessary for specific tasks and personal protection.
Ability to perform calculations, analyze reports, and engage in strategic and creative problem solving. Language requirements are reading, writing, and speaking in English
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching and lifting up to 80 lbs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
