Job Duties: Provide day-to-day development and support of Wind Rivers BI applications; Support Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives by effectively communicating BI requirements to both IT and business leaders, and provide insight to the Wind River BI landscape; Work with IT Business Analyst teams to gather and analyze business reporting requirements from end users, and translate them into reporting designs; Leverage Oracle and SalesForce BI to achieve strategic corporate objectives; Participate in all phases of the BI software development life cycle, including business analysis, technical designs of BI Data models, multidimensional metadata layers, query objects and ETL processes; Develop reports and report templates, prototyping, testing and deployment; Configure interactive dashboards with drill-down capabilities; Perform BI data architecture and data model design, configuration, development and deployment; Execute, monitor and tune BI application jobs, including report scheduling and distribution; Troubleshoot BI-related issues (performance, data integrity, user access, security, report delivery); Provide end user support and training.
Requirements: Bachelors Computer Science/related(4 Years degree)
3 years of Business Analytics experience, in the job offered or related capacity(ies), with:
1. Analytics project implementation
2. ETL design/development with Informatica, and scheduling with DAC
3. Oracle (OBI Dashboard, OBI Answers, OBI Delivers and OBI Scorecard, and Page level Prompts/Filters)
4. Fluent with SQL, PL/SQL RDBMS queries and performance optimization.
5. Data modeling with Dimensional Data, Star and Snowflake Schema, SCDs, Physical/Logical modeling
6. Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning
7. Ability to handle new Analytical tools.
8. OBIEE Development, Configuration and Maintenance
