Digital Media Strategist

The Oakland Raiders are seeking a Digital Media Strategist to join Silver and Black Productions. This position s primary responsibilities will include serving as a digital content and operations assistant. The Digital Media Strategist will work closely with the Senior Editor, Digital Media Coordinator and Team Photographer to assist with the day-to-day operations to meet deadlines for Raiders.com.

Essential Job Functions

  • Update website including posting of all content (articles, blogs, accompanying photography, and videos), page updates, special section creation, removal of expired content, etc.
  • Program homepage and landing pages by constructing page layouts and designs.
  • Implement aesthetic and functional changes, and troubleshoot usability issues to ensure full functionality.
  • Work with internal team members (e.g. writers, multimedia producers) to ensure that the content plan is executed on a daily basis.
  • Prepare various video and audio formats, including live streaming for digital/online publication.
  • Maintain team s official app and other media platforms such as Desksite, NFL Now, etc.
  • Create content ideas and storytelling.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Web, Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, Communications or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems and the NFL s platform is a plus.
  • Knowledge of multi browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari, and Opera).
  • Experience working with multiple devices (PCs, Mobile and Tablets).
  • Knowledge of SEO optimization via site s architecture, unique content, and syndication.
  • Must be flexible regarding work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
