Research Associate II - Stem Cell Discovery Research

The individual in this position works independently and as part of a team whose goal is to develop stem cell based therapeutics to treat age-related degenerative disease. Emphasis is on evaluating candidates for stem cell based therapeutics using biochemical and functional assays. Candidate must have extensive experience in mammalian cell culture including scale-up, maintenance and storage of cells. Prefer candidates skilled in pluripotent stem cell culture and differentiation including induced pluripotent stem cells and embryonic stem cells. Must be experienced in development and evaluation of biochemical, immunological and cell-based assays. Experience with basic molecular biology techniques is also highly desirable. The research associate should contribute to innovation of new products including developing innovative ways to identify and develop new therapeutic candidate cell lines or cell product candidates such as exosomes.
